The European Union’s Digital Markets Act (DMA) has come into force, and that means that some of the largest tech companies in the world will have to make major changes in how they run.
The law, which is designed to increase competition in the digital markets of the EU, designates some major companies as “gatekeepers” to the Neline companies and their services. Those who have got the Gatekeeper designation – the companies in the list are alphabetical, Amazon, Apple Pal, Bedance, Meta and Micros .ft – Strict requirements will have to be met with the purpose of reducing anticoMumpatical behavior.
